Guanaco Conference explores production potential in Santa Cruz

The First Guanaco Conference was held at Estancia La Angostura in Gobernador Gregores, Santa Cruz, to explore the sustainable production potential of the guanaco species. Organized by Nativa Guanacos S.A.S. with support from the Municipality of Gobernador Gregores and the Provincial Agrarian Council, the event gathered producers, technicians, and artisans.

The conference featured practical demonstrations of animal herding, shearing, and field management, as well as fiber conditioning. Participants discussed the economic opportunities provided by fine fibers and the potential of guanaco meat to support rural families and create new jobs in the Patagonian region.
