Guanajuato certifies 100 companies for international export

One hundred small and medium-sized enterprises (MiPymes) in Guanajuato have received the 'Marca Guanajuato Internacional' certification. This distinction follows a business challenge program led by the Coordinator for Foreign Trade Promotion (COFOCE) and the state Secretariat of Economy.

The program prepared these companies to meet international standards, enabling them to successfully complete their first sales in foreign markets. Governor Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo presented the certification at a business meeting in León, which included participation from 43 purchasing companies from across the Americas.

A second phase of training is being organized through COFOCE and the State Training Institute to prepare an additional 100 companies for international trade. The certified businesses represent various sectors, including agro-industry, fashion, and leather goods.
