Guanajuato honors centenarian Eufemia Rodríguez Juárez
Eufemia Rodríguez Juárez, a 101-year-old resident of Irapuato, has been recognized as part of the ‘Historias Centenarias’ initiative by the Sistema DIF Estatal de Guanajuato. The program, organized through the ‘Gobierno de la Gente’, aims to honor centenarians who serve as living memory for the state and value the legacy they have built within their families and communities.
As part of this recognition, the ‘Recetas para Vivir’ initiative was created to share the wisdom, experiences, and life lessons gathered by these individuals over a century. Juan Carlos Montesinos Carranza, president of the Advisory Council of the Sistema DIF Estatal, noted that centenarians represent an invaluable legacy, providing identity, teachings, and values to their communities and serving as examples for younger generations.
