Guanajuato International Airport wins service award and opens training center

Guanajuato International Airport has achieved significant milestones regarding both service quality and community development. For the third consecutive year, the airport received the ASQ Passenger Experience Award from Airports Council International (ACI), ranking as the best airport in Latin America and the Caribbean in the 2-to-5-million-passenger category.

Additionally, the airport inaugurated new permanent facilities for its Community Training Center (CCF), an initiative by Fundación GAP. Since its provisional start in 2021, the center has provided free education to over 10,000 members of the airport community and surrounding areas. The new space will host programs in aeronautical training, air traffic control in collaboration with SENEAM, hospitality, and various trade workshops to promote social mobility through education.
