The state Secretariat of Health in Querétaro, led by Secretary Martina Pérez Rendón, convened a coordination meeting of the Red de Prevención y Atención for mental health and addictions, bringing together federal, state and civil‑society actors. The forum reviewed epidemiological data, reinforced preventive and early‑intervention strategies, and emphasized support for vulnerable groups, including children with autism.

Municipal coordinator Armando Rivera Castillejos met with families of children with autism to discuss challenges and urged organized citizen participation to improve public resources and services for autistic children.

The State Council Against Addictions (CECA) trained university staff at the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro to detect and address risks linked to problematic digital‑technology use, covering topics such as nomophobia, FOMO and the impact of excessive screen time.

Separately, the Secretariat oversaw the graduation ceremony for 97 health‑care interns at the Hospital General de Querétaro, highlighting the role of practical training in strengthening the regional health system.
