Guanambi municipality approves R$16.9 million public works for new Ceasa hub and health unit
The municipal government of Guanambi completed two electronic public tenders to build new public facilities, committing a total of R$ 16,952,923.94. Both contracts were awarded to Construmendes Serviços e Empreendimentos EIRELI.
The larger contract, valued at R$ 13,423,240, funds the construction of the Guanambi Municipal Supply Center (Ceasa) on land expropriated near BR‑122 at the Pindaí exit. The project aims to create a regional logistics hub for fruit and vegetable distribution, generate direct and indirect jobs, improve supply‑chain organization and reduce food waste.
The second contract, worth R$ 3,529,683.94, covers a new Primary Health Care Unit (UBS) Porte III in the Monte Azul neighborhood. The facility will serve residents of Monte Azul, Renascer I & II, Santa Rita, and surrounding communities, providing primary care services and expanding municipal health coverage.
