Guapimirim police seize seven wild birds from local bar

Environmental police officers from the Comando de Polícia Ambiental (CPAm) seized seven wild birds being held in illegal captivity at a bar in the Segredo neighborhood of Guapimirim, Rio de Janeiro.

The seizure occurred following a report regarding the breeding of birds in captivity. Upon entering the establishment, officers discovered several cages containing wildlife. While some birds possessed the necessary documentation, the undocumented animals and seven cages were confiscated and taken to a police station for further legal evaluation.
