Guará opens applications for new Culture Manager

The Guará Regional Administration has opened a selection process for a new Culture Manager. Artists, producers, and cultural sector representatives can apply for the position or register to vote through an online process held between November 3 and November 18.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, have resided in Guará for at least two years, and demonstrate active artistic or cultural involvement in the region during that time. Evaluation criteria include cultural knowledge, administrative capacity, and legal requirements for public office. Experience can be verified via the Cadastro de Entes e Agentes Culturais (Ceac) or a professional portfolio.

Voting will take place in person on December 19 at the Guará Regional Administration auditorium. Voters must be over 16 years old, reside in the region, and demonstrate a connection to the cultural sector. The election will produce a shortlist of three candidates, which must be approved by the Guará Regional Culture Council. Regional Administrator Artur Nogueira will then select the new manager from this list within 15 business days following the submission of names.
