Guaíra man arrested for stabbing Indigenous person 60 times

A man has been arrested in Guaíra, Paraná, after confessing to stabbing an Indigenous man approximately 60 times. The attack occurred in the early hours of August 10 on the Estrada da Faixinha.

The investigation saw a significant reversal when the victim, who survived the severe attack and was treated in Toledo, provided a formal statement. The victim cleared two other Indigenous men who had been previously arrested based on false testimony from a village leader and other witnesses. Following the victim's testimony, the responsible individual confessed to the crime, citing a dispute involving alcohol.
