Guaratinguetá athletes claim multiple titles in regional competitions

Guaratinguetá's basketball team defeated Monaco SJCampos 72‑27 in the Metropolitan League, highlighting the squad's competitiveness. At the Jogos Abertos da Juventude Barretos 2026, the municipality finished fourth overall and secured several gymnastics rhythmic medals, including two first‑place finishes by Beatriz in individual events.

In judo, the FADENP Guaratinguetá club, coached by Sensei Rogival Mattos, won the overall cup, while the Aeronautics School of Guaratinguetá took the top spot in the age‑group rankings. The city's athletes also performed strongly at the fourth stage of the Valeparaibana Table‑Tennis League in Taubaté, earning numerous podium placements across junior categories.
