Guarda Wine Fest opens in Portugal while Square SC launches Wine Experience in Brazil

The fifth edition of the Guarda Wine Fest began on Thursday, 10 July, in the Alameda de Santo André, Guarda, Portugal. Organized by the municipal council, the Regional Viticulture Commission of Beira Interior and Essência Company, the three‑day festival showcases producers from the Beira Interior, Dão, Douro and invited Tejo regions, offering wine tastings, regional gastronomy, enologist talks, live jazz and DJ performances, and showcooking sessions.

In Brazil, Square SC announced its inaugural Wine Experience Square for 22 August 2026 in Florianópolis. The five‑hour event will feature more than 100 national and imported wine labels, 15 exhibitors, masterclasses by wine specialists, diverse food stations, a cashback program and a personalized tasting glass for attendees, aiming to connect consumers, producers and industry professionals.
