Guardia Civil charity race in Zamora exceeds 3,000 registrants

The 15th edition of the Guardia Civil Popular Race in Zamora has surpassed 3,000 registrants. This charitable event aims to reach 4,000 participants, including runners, walkers, and skaters, to raise approximately 30,000 euros.

All proceeds will be donated to the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (Federación Española de Enfermedades Raras) to fund new scientific scholarships for studying uncommon pathologies. The race is scheduled for Sunday, September 27, following a route through the historic center of Zamora and the local Command headquarters.

The initiative is supported by the Provincial Council of Zamora, the local city council, and various corporate sponsors, including Fundación Caja Rural de Zamora and Fundación Seur.
