Guardia Civil conducts national human trafficking raids in Vigo

The Guardia Civil has conducted several raids in Vigo as part of a large-scale national operation targeting human trafficking for sexual exploitation. The investigation is being directed by the Court of Instance of Seville.

Multiple individuals were detained during the raids, which included searches of residential properties in the city center. The operation is currently under judicial secrecy. This investigation follows recent actions in Seville, where two organizations were dismantled for the exploitation of foreign women, primarily of Colombian and Brazilian nationality, in extreme working conditions.
