Guardia Civil dismantles marijuana plantation in Lleida

The Guardia Civil dismantled an indoor marijuana plantation located in a property in the Balàfia district of Lleida. During the operation, authorities seized more than 200 cannabis plants in various stages of growth and flowering, along with specialized infrastructure designed to facilitate indoor cultivation.

Investigators discovered that the facility was utilizing an illegal connection to the electrical grid to power the operation, leading to further charges of electricity fraud. A woman was arrested on suspicion of crimes against public health regarding the cultivation of drugs and the theft of electrical energy. Following police procedures, the detainee was released pending judicial proceedings.
