Guardia Civil in Soria hosts criminology student for internship

A criminology student from the Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes (UEMC) has completed a two-month academic internship at the Guardia Civil Command in Soria, Spain. The program was conducted under an agreement between the Ministry of the Interior and the university.

During the training period, the student gained hands-on experience with various specialized units. This included the Judicial Police, the Complex Operations Center (COC), and the Women and Minors Team (EMUME), which focuses on vulnerable victims. The internship also covered cybercrime investigation through the Technological Investigation Team (EDITE), traffic safety, and the SEPRONA environmental unit.

Additional training involved visiting the Institute of Legal Medicine of Soria and observing procedures in the Criminalistics Laboratory, as well as learning about weapons and explosives intervention and CBRN (Nuclear, Biological, Radiological, and Chemical) units.
