Guardia Civil intervenes at illegal rave in La Granja

Authorities in La Granja have intervened at an unauthorized rave held near a natural pool to assist a man suffering from a severe drug overdose. The individual, who exhibited disruptive behavior and resisted leaving the event, was involuntarily transported by the Guardia Civil and ambulance services to the Hospital Virgen del Puerto in Plasencia.

Law enforcement continues to maintain a heavy presence at the site to ensure public safety and order. Security forces are monitoring access routes and the perimeter to prevent further crowds from arriving. While initial estimates suggested 3,000 attendees, aerial surveillance via drones indicates the number of people and vehicles may have exceeded that figure.
