Guardia Civil rescues five people stranded in Cádiz Bay

The Provincial Maritime Service of the Guardia Civil rescued five people in the Bay of Cádiz after their recreational boat ran aground near the Carranza Bridge. The incident occurred on Wednesday, August 26, around 7:00 PM.

Upon arrival, agents observed several individuals standing on rocks in the middle of the sea attempting to push the vessel to free it. While one person managed to steer the boat away, the remaining four were left stranded on a difficult-to-access rocky outcrop, causing significant distress.

Due to the shallow, rocky terrain, officers utilized a small rowing boat without a motor to approach the site safely. All five individuals were successfully brought aboard the Guardia Civil vessel, preventing the situation from worsening due to sea conditions.
