Guardia Civil secures refuge for families of Urda train accident victims

The Cardenal Marcelo Priestly House in Toledo has become an improvised refuge for approximately 60 family members of passengers missing following a railway accident in Urda. The group is awaiting news regarding the whereabouts and status of their loved ones.

Red Cross psychologists are providing support to those gathered at the site, where an ambulance from SESCAM remains on standby. To protect the families from media and onlookers during this period of uncertainty, Guardia Civil agents are guarding the access points to the facility.
