Guardia Civil seeks family of elderly man found in Morelia

The Michoacán Civil Guard is seeking assistance from the public to locate the relatives of Alfonso Miranda Ortiz, an 80-year-old man found wandering in the Lombardo Toledano neighborhood of Morelia.

Mr. Ortiz was located near the intersection of Consuelo Alfaro and Félix Ireta streets. At the time of his discovery, he was wearing military green pants, a yellow shirt with green checks, and light brown sandals. He is currently under police protection.

Records indicate his registered residence is in Jesús del Monte. Authorities are working to establish contact with his family to ensure his safe return home. Citizens with information are encouraged to contact the Dirección de Justicia Cívica y Mediación Administrativa at 443 316 3728.
