Guardia di Finanza band marks centenary with Cerveteri concert

The Banda Musicale della Guardia di Finanza celebrated its 100th anniversary with a concert in Cerveteri’s Parco della Legnara on 5 August. The program combined traditional band repertoire, a tribute to Ennio Morricone, opera arias by Puccini performed by tenor Yoosang Yoon of the Rome Opera House, and concluded with the March of the Guardia di Finanza and the Italian national anthem.

Mayor Elena Gubetti and Vice‑Mayor Riccardo Ferri thanked the Regional Command of the Guardia di Finanza, represented by Colonel Antonio Sassi and Brigadier General Carmelo Azzarà, as well as Captain Dario Di Coste, the band’s director. The event was part of the “Estate Caerite 2026” cultural programme coordinated by Culture Assessor Francesca Cennerilli and attracted a large local audience, highlighting the city’s capacity to host high‑profile artistic and institutional initiatives.
