Guardia di Finanza fines drunk boat driver in Marina di Ravenna

The Guardia di Finanza's naval operational section in Marina di Ravenna intercepted a high-powered speedboat carrying five people during nighttime patrols along the Romagna coast. The vessel was flagged due to irregular movement, and upon inspection, the occupants appeared to be in a state of physical and mental alteration.

Subsequent checks conducted with the support of the Ravenna Provincial Command and the Riccione Road Police confirmed that the driver was operating the boat under the influence of alcohol. As a result, the driver faces an administrative fine of nearly 6,000 euros and the immediate revocation of their nautical license, which may be suspended for a period between six months and one year.
