The investigation, conducted throughout 2026, focused on commercial activities within the seaside, tourism, and catering sectors operating on maritime state property.

Authorities identified various tax irregularities, including the failure to pay municipal property taxes and waste disposal fees. The recovered funds are intended to be returned to the coastal municipalities to support essential public services and ensure fiscal equity.
