Multiple maritime and mountain rescue operations were conducted across Sicily. In the Strait of Sicily, the Guardia di Finanza rescued a man approximately 40 years old after his boat was destroyed by a fire and a subsequent explosion. The incident occurred roughly 25 nautical miles off the coast of Marsala. The survivor, who was found in the water without flotation devices, was treated for burns and shock before being transferred to a hospital in Trapani.

In Alghero, the Coast Guard rescued four people from a 21-meter vessel that ran aground on rocks at Dragunara during heavy winds and rough seas. The crew was successfully transferred to safety, and the vessel was later salvaged by a specialized towing company.

Additionally, on Monte Erice, the Aeronautica Militare and Alpine Rescue teams utilized a helicopter and winch to rescue an Italian hiker who had fallen ill. The individual was airlifted to a hospital in Trapani for medical attention.
