Guardia Estatal recovers stolen Chevrolet Trax in Nuevo Laredo

State Guard elements recovered a stolen Chevrolet Trax in the Las Alazanas neighborhood of Nuevo Laredo. The vehicle had been reported stolen on September 2, 2026.

Local residents alerted authorities after noticing the gray SUV had been abandoned on a public street for several days with significant damage to the front windshield. Upon inspecting the vehicle's identification numbers against the Plataforma México database, officers confirmed the theft report. The vehicle was transferred to the custody of the Public Ministry of the Tamaulipas State Attorney General's Office for further legal proceedings.
