Yolanda Millán López, municipal aide, killed in Morelos

Yolanda Millán López, a 61‑year‑old municipal aide for the community of Tepetzingo in the Emiliano Zapata municipality of Morelos, was shot dead on the morning of 5 August 2026. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots near the local aid office; police and forensic teams later found her body beside her vehicle with numerous bullet wounds.
