Guardiagrele school construction site collapse injures four workers
Four workers sustained minor injuries following the collapse of a roof/floor at a secondary school construction site in Guardiagrele, Italy. The building, owned by the Province of Chieti, was undergoing expansion works funded by the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan). The project, valued at 492,000 euros, was being carried out by Faco di San Salvo.
Emergency services, including firefighters and medical personnel, responded to the scene. Francesco Menna, President of the Province of Chieti, expressed his support for the injured workers and called for a swift investigation to determine the exact dynamics of the collapse, identify the causes, and verify compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
