Veracruz Secretary of Culture announces Xalapa events

The Veracruz Secretary of Culture (SECVER) has announced several cultural activities in Xalapa scheduled for September 9.

A discussion titled ‘Herbolaria, uso de las plantas como remedio natural’ will take place at the Ágora de la Ciudad de Xalapa. The event features Luis Vitela Moreno, Mario Millán Soto, and Carmen José Manuel, who will discuss the therapeutic use of medicinal plants including roots, leaves, and flowers to prevent or treat illnesses.

Additionally, the Galería de Arte Contemporáneo de Xalapa (GACX) will host a workshop titled ‘Representando la memoria. Nostalgia de la niñez’. Led by artist Luna Lambert Ciriolo, the session uses watercolor to explore autobiographical childhood memories and visual narratives of Xalapa from the early 2000s.
