Guarujá advances creative economy with SP Produz 2026 approval

The city of Guarujá has reached a significant milestone in its creative economy development after its Integrated Creative Economy Local Productive Chain (CPL) project passed the first legal qualification phase of the SP Produz 2026 Program. This initiative, managed by the São Paulo State Secretariat of Economic Development, recognizes and classifies the maturity levels of local productive chains.

Successful CPLs may qualify for investments ranging from R$ 250,000 to R$ 1 million. The Guarujá project aims to implement a ‘Made in Guarujá’ seal to promote local identity, establish the ‘Casa do Artesão + Vila Criativa’ for exhibitions, and launch a digital platform to increase online visibility. Other objectives include organizing business rounds, fairs, festivals, and innovation training to strengthen competitive and sustainable local economic growth.
