Guarulhos hosts 54th Olimpíada Colegial Guarulhense student games

The 54th Olimpíada Colegial Guarulhense (OCG) has commenced in Guarulhos, Brazil. Recognized as the largest student sports competition in the country, the event involves more than 12,000 student-athletes aged 7 to 18.

A total of 152 educational institutions are participating, including state, municipal, federal, and private schools. The competition utilizes over 20 sports complexes across the city and is scheduled to run until September 5.

The tournament features 18 official modalities, including athletics, gymnastics, swimming, various combat sports, and team sports such as football and volleyball. This edition also marks the debut of skateboarding as a special modality.
