Guarulhos offers free sterilization program for dogs and cats

The City of Guarulhos is conducting in-person registrations for its free sterilization program for dogs and cats. Interested pet owners can register at the municipal shelter located at Rua Santa Cruz do Descalvado, 420, in the Jardim Triunfo region until Wednesday, October 7.

To secure a spot for the veterinary surgery, guardians must present a photo ID and proof of residence in the municipality. The surgeries are scheduled to take place from Thursday, October 8, through Sunday, October 11. Technical teams require that selected animals undergo a strict 8-hour fast from both food and water prior to the procedure.
