Atibaia and Guarulhos host community charity drives

In Atibaia, a partnership between the Rotary Club and Instituto Pão de Açúcar (IPA) successfully collected 466 kg of food for APAE Atibaia during their August campaign. This initiative provides essential supplies such as rice, beans, milk, and hygiene products to vulnerable families. Since the partnership began in December, the project has collected nearly four tons of food for eight different charitable entities.

Meanwhile, in Guarulhos, the Fundo Social de Solidariedade is conducting the ‘Varal Solidário’ initiative. This program operates as a mobile shop, allowing residents in social vulnerability to choose up to 10 pieces of clothing or footwear for free. Starting in August, the service has transitioned to a weekly schedule, rotating through different neighborhoods such as Vila Carmela, Jardim Bananal, and Malvinas to reach those in need.
