Águas do Rio implements new pumping systems to improve water supply

Águas do Rio has implemented three new pumping systems, known as boosters, to improve water supply for approximately 600 families in the neighborhoods of São José in Cantagalo, Rodolfo Gonçalves in Cordeiro, and Via Parque in Rio Bonito.

These booster systems are designed to provide adequate pressure to properties located in elevated areas or regions with significant terrain elevation changes, where conventional distribution systems often struggle to maintain regularity. According to Carlos Eduardo Bittencourt, Operations Manager at the concessionaire, the equipment ensures more stable and continuous distribution. The investment aims to prevent low water pressure and facilitate faster service resumption following maintenance periods.
