Guasave security official urges direct reporting over social media posts

Juan De Dios López Rubio, the Secretary of Citizen Security and Sustainable Mobility in Guasave, has urged residents to report suspicious individuals directly to authorities rather than sharing content on social media.

This request follows viral posts regarding a woman who has been detained multiple times for allegedly causing disturbances. López Rubio clarified that while the individual has been attended to by security forces, previous detentions have not yielded weapons or evidence to support claims of violent aggression. He warned that spreading unverified information can cause social panic and requested that citizens use official emergency numbers to request patrols and allow authorities to verify facts.
