State of Mexico launches 121‑million‑peso reconstruction of Vía Gustavo Baz

Governor Delfina Gómez Álvarez inaugurated the reconstruction of the 9‑kilometre Vía Gustavo Baz in the State of Mexico, allocating 121 million pesos. The project will replace the road surface, improve drainage, install lighting and upgrade sidewalks, aiming to enhance mobility for more than two million residents of Naucalpan and Tlalnepantla. Work is scheduled to be carried out at night over eight weeks, creating 1 139 direct jobs and 846 indirect positions for local workers. The initiative is part of the “2026, Year of the Works” program, which also includes the rebuilding of 108 km of Periférico Norte and the construction of Mexicable Line III.
