Guatemalan culinary entities receive international and domestic honors

Guatemalan culinary and hospitality entities have received significant recognition both internationally and domestically. The Las Margaritas School of Gastronomy and Hospitality was honored at THE BIZZ EUROPE 2026 in Vienna, Austria. Organized by the World Confederation of Businesses, the award recognizes leadership, innovation, and social responsibility within the business sector.

Domestically, the 2026 Feria Alimentaria in Guatemala celebrated its 30th anniversary by presenting the Tenedor de Oro awards. This ceremony recognizes excellence and innovation within the national restaurant and food industry. Among the recipients, Finca El Injerto was named ‘Café del Año’ for its excellence in specialty coffee production.
