Guatuso and Sutatausa advance major infrastructure and public works projects

The Municipality of Guatuso in Costa Rica has identified three infrastructure priorities to strengthen its road network by 2026. These projects aim to improve connectivity for tourism, agriculture, and livestock. Key initiatives include the improvement of the 15.7-kilometer route to Río Celeste, a joint effort with the Rural Development Institute (INDER), and the enhancement of roads leading to the Maleku indigenous territory, which includes a planned bridge over the Sol River.

In Sutatausa, Colombia, Mayor Jhonatan Ojeda is overseeing several major public works. These include the construction of a new Municipal Theater with a cinema-style setup and recording studio, an investment of approximately $4.2 billion pesos. Additionally, a new 'megacolegio' is under construction on a six-and-a-half-hectare site, funded by an $18 billion peso investment from the Gobernación de Cundinamarca, which will feature sports facilities and 5,600 square meters of construction.
