Guayaquil hosts Pregón Octubrino festivities in southern districts

As part of the October festivities, the Pregón Octubrino and Artistic Fair took place in southern Guayaquil. Organized by the Municipal Public Company for Social Action and Education (DASE EP), the event drew more than 3,000 participants.

The parade featured 52 artistic delegations, including students from various educational units and independent groups. The procession included peace bands, baton twirlers, and choreographed performances that moved through several cooperatives, including Santiaguito Roldós, Esteros Tradicionales, Esteros Populares, Ahora Le Toca al Pueblo, La Fragata, and Viernes Santo.

The event concluded at the Polifuncional Viernes Santo, where participating delegations received certificates and recognition. Additional municipal activities included an exhibition by the Municipal Control Agents' Canine Unit and a local entrepreneur fair.
