Guayaquil implements smart lighting system at Parque Samanes

The Guayaquil Municipality, through PARQUES EP, is implementing a smart lighting system at Parque Samanes to modernize its infrastructure and optimize electricity consumption. The project involves a telegestión system that allows operators to monitor each light fixture, schedule on/off times, detect faults, and make remote adjustments via a digital platform.

The investment totals USD 2,165,774.56. The system is designed to adapt to the specific usage patterns of different areas, such as sports courts, athletic tracks, and walking paths. For instance, lighting can be adjusted based on the frequency of use in different zones. The renovation project is currently 85% complete.
