Guayaquil International Book Fair 2026 announced

The Guayaquil International Book Fair 2026 is scheduled to take place from September 16 to 20, 2026, at the Guayaquil Convention Center. Organized by the Ecuadorian Book Chamber (CEL) in collaboration with the Eugenio Espejo National Library and the Ministry of Education, Sport, and Culture, the event aims to bring together the publishing sector and readers through talks, presentations, and cultural activities.

Through a cooperation agreement between the National Library and the CEL, an 85 m² pavilion will be available to host 10 independent publishers or bookstores. This institutional space offers participants furniture, shelving, and logistical support, including shipping for materials and travel and lodging for one representative if they reside outside of Guayaquil. The deadline for applications is August 24, 2026.
