Guayaquil municipality ramps up road repairs with 20 active work fronts
The Guayaquil municipal public works department is intensifying road maintenance and rehabilitation across the city, operating 20 active work fronts. Crews are carrying out pothole filling, asphalt resurfacing, and concrete reconstruction on major corridors such as Avenida Benjamín Rosales, Avenida Antonio Parra Velasco, Gómez Rendón and Avenida Machala, as well as other strategic routes throughout the northeast, northwest, central‑south and suburban areas.
These efforts aim to improve traffic flow, enhance safety for drivers and pedestrians, and extend the lifespan of the city's road network, benefiting thousands of residents who rely on these thoroughfares for daily travel.
