Guayaquil police patrol damaged by woman in northern district

A woman caused damage to a police patrol vehicle on Las Aguas Avenue in northern Guayaquil on Monday, September 7. According to video footage, the woman jumped from the roof of a van onto the patrol car, damaging its windshield.

The woman also attempted to strike others with a traffic cone during the incident. The Modelo district police reported that the individual appears to have a mental health condition. Her family members reportedly took responsibility for the damages and stated they would take necessary measures to ensure her care and well-being.
