Guayaquil prepares for La Mamá de las Ferias festival

The second edition of ‘La Mamá de las Ferias’ is scheduled to take place from October 8 to October 11 at the Estadio Modelo Alberto Spencer and its surrounding esplanade in Guayaquil. Organized by Wave Music, the event expects to host approximately 250 exhibitors and attract around 200,000 visitors.

The fair features diverse pavilions covering technology, fashion, beauty, gastronomy, automotive, and anime. Specific attractions include Korean skincare products, a children's zone, and themed areas such as the ‘Carpa Cervecera’ and ‘Carpa del Despecho.’

A central component of the event is the musical lineup. The schedule includes El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico and Los Hermanos Rosario on Thursday; Fonseca, Myriam Hernández, and AU-D on Friday; Olga Tañón, Américo, and others on Saturday; and Don Medardo y sus Players, Papaya Dada, Tierra Canela, and Segundo Rosero on Sunday. General admission is priced at $10, which includes access to both the fair and the daily concert.
