Quito hosts Global Coffee Fair and South American coffee rankings

Quito is hosting The Global Coffee Fair at the Centro de Convenciones Metropolitano, an event designed to connect producers, roasters, and consumers while promoting the Ecuadorian coffee industry. A central highlight of the fair is the announcement of the 2026 ranking for ‘The World’s 100 Best Coffee Shops’ in South America, marking the first time Ecuador has served as the stage for this regional announcement.

During the fair, participants include coffee growers from the Chocó Andino reserve, showcasing unique flavor profiles.
