Gucci Mane Allegedly Held at Gunpoint by Pooh Shiesty in Dallas Contract Dispute
Federal prosecutors have submitted video evidence that appears to show rapper Pooh Shiesty confronting Gucci Mane inside a Dallas recording studio, pointing an AK‑style pistol at him and forcing him to sign paperwork releasing Shiesty from his 1017 Records contract. The footage, which surfaced online in July 2026, also shows armed men standing nearby while Gucci is compelled to state on camera that the contract is terminated. Prosecutors allege the incident was a kidnapping, robbery and extortion scheme; Gucci was reportedly robbed of jewelry and cash valued at about $450,000. The case also implicates rapper Big30, who prosecutors say recorded portions of the encounter, and Shiesty’s father, who is among the co‑defendants. Shiesty, his father and seven others have been charged with kidnapping, robbery and extortion and have pleaded not guilty. The trial, originally slated for June, has been postponed to February 2027. The newly released video is expected to be a key piece of evidence as the federal case proceeds.
