Guácimo man shot dead by motorcycle suspects

A man was fatally shot on a public street in the Pocora Sur sector of Guácimo, Limón, on Sunday night. The victim, identified by the surname Taylor, was intercepted by at least two individuals on a motorcycle who opened fire without warning.

According to the Judicial Investigation Organization (OIJ), the victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the face, back, and an upper limb. Investigators recovered approximately eight shell casings at the scene. The attack occurred near a bar, located roughly 75 meters from a local police station.

While official identification is being processed, unofficial reports suggest the victim may be a local resident known as ‘Chino’. The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction, and authorities have not yet reported any arrests in connection with the homicide.
