Guédiawaye: Jakarta driver fatally stabbed at Boubess Market

A fatal stabbing occurred on Wednesday morning at the Boubess Market in Guédiawaye. Sakhir Diouf, a young Jakarta motorcycle driver, was killed following an altercation with a cart driver.

Witnesses report that after a dispute between the two men was temporarily resolved by bystanders, the cart driver allegedly surprised the victim and stabbed him twice. Diouf succumbed to his injuries before an ambulance could arrive. His body was subsequently taken to Dalal Jamm Hospital.

The victim's mother has called for justice, noting that her grandson was killed in similar circumstances two years ago, and the perpetrator of that crime was never caught. An investigation is currently underway to locate the suspect, who is currently at large.
