Águeda and Vagos municipal councils to hold public meetings

Municipal councils in Águeda and Vagos are scheduled to hold public meetings on September 3 to discuss various local governance matters.

In Águeda, the agenda focuses heavily on road infrastructure, specifically the connection of the Casarão Business Park to the IC2. The council will review proposals regarding contract extensions, amendments, and financing through the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR). Other topics include the inspection of road repaving works in Fermentelos, Águeda, Recardães, Mourisca do Vouga, and Valongo do Vouga, as well as urban planning priorities.

In Vagos, the meeting will address the public water distribution and supply concession contract. The council is also considering a bank loan of up to 900,000 euros for the requalification of Rua Padre Vicente Maria da Rocha. Additionally, officials will discuss the 6th amendment to the Municipal Master Plan and various educational support measures, including family contributions for school activities and social action scales for the 2026/2027 school year.
