Águeda Municipal Market reopens following renovation
The Águeda Municipal Market in Portugal has reopened to the public on Friday, October 23, following extensive renovation works. The project aimed to modernize one of the city's most emblematic commercial spaces, providing improved conditions for merchants and increased comfort for consumers.
Vendors are currently transitioning from temporary locations back into the renovated building. Beyond its traditional role in selling fresh products and supporting local commerce, the facility is intended to host additional services, including the planned installation of the Tax Authority on the first floor.
A formal inauguration ceremony is scheduled for November 6 at 17:00.
