The Portuguese international analysis program ‘Guerra e Paz’ is reaching its 400th episode this Sunday. Created by Germano Almeida, the daily show airs during prime time on the NOW channel, owned by Medialivre.

Almeida attributes the program's success to increased public interest in international affairs following the start of the war in Ukraine. He notes that viewers seek clear summaries and a respectful format that allows guests to speak without the chaotic commentary often found in other programs.

The show has consistently led its time slot in audience ratings. For instance, the 399th episode achieved an average audience of 93,900 viewers, nearly doubling the viewership of competitors such as SIC Notícias and CNN Portugal.
