Guerrero authorities rescue teenager and detain two suspects

Authorities in Huitzuco de los Figueroa, Guerrero, rescued a 16-year-old girl during a coordinated law enforcement operation. The teenager was found on a motorcycle, where she was signaling for help to passing agents.

The operation involved the State Prosecutor's Office, the Secretariat of National Defense, the National Guard, and State Police. Following the rescue, two individuals, identified as Jesús “N” (alias “El 25”) and Blanca Yessenia “N” (“La China”), were detained. They are under investigation for suspected kidnapping and vehicle theft.

Officers seized a 2025 Benelli motorcycle with an active theft report. Investigators are currently working to determine if the suspects have ties to the Los Tlacos criminal organization, also known as the Sierra Cartel, which has established presence in the mountainous regions of Guerrero.
